Native Project
Student's have completed the native project. By completing the project they have learned valuable computer, writing, reading, researching, and collaborative skills. I will post their projects on the blog for review.
Conference Practice
Students prepared for student led conferences. Once again the conferences went very well and provided an opportunity for students and parents to reflect on academic progress.

Parent Letter
Dear Parents,
Do you know what we did this week? This week we have worked on many interesting projects. First, we all worked very hard on our Native research project and we are typing. Some of the people are typing slides about food while others are working on clothing. We have learned how to open a power point and how to insert a map. Another project we have worked on is in art we made turkeys. It was extremely complicated because you had to glue and cut paper. The paper had to be made into feathers and a body of a turkey. You will be surprised! Ooops! We have already said to much. As you can see we have had a busy week.
Sincerely,
Your Lovely Children

Weekly Letter
Please read this message and you will get one hundred dollars. Just kidding! You are about to learn several things that we did or learned this week. First this week we have been revising our drafts about the Native American tribes. When we revise we have a check list and we go over our writing to find any mistakes. Some the mistakes we fix are, our spelling, capitals, periods, amount of words in a sentence, and how our sentences start. Next we have worked on being ready for our conferences with you. All of us have written notes to help us when we talk to you. We have looked at our papers that tell us our scores in reading, writing, and math. Each one of us can’t wait for you to come and listen to us. In conclusion you should now understand we have had a busy week.
